The Hub

The Hub at CSU in Bathurst is a relaxing and vibrant place to sit down and have breakfast or lunch. You can either choose to sit inside or enjoy the fresh air outside. The Hub has an array of modern Australian cuisines on offer as well as barista quality coffee. Everyone can choose something they’ll enjoy, with gluten free and vegan options also available. The menu is reasonably priced and the portion sizes will leave you full. I’ve been to The Hub on several occasions and it’s always my first choice when eating out with friends.

The Terrace Thai Cuisine

The Terrace Thai Cuisine is a must if you’re into Thai food. The food is beyond delicious and ranges from the usual Pad Thai to Thai style ribs. There is almost too much to choose from, so you’re better off going with a group and ordering a variety of dishes so you can get a taste of everything.

The Terrace Thai Cuisine has an indoor and outdoor seating area, but I suggest taking a place in the outdoor area which is perfect on a summer night. If you don’t feel like eating in, then there’s also a takeaway option and delivery too.

The Church Bar

The Church Bar offers some of the best wood fired pizza you’ll ever eat. Even better – if you’re a pizza lover, The Church Bar’s menu is entirely pizza. There is so much variety to choose from, with gluten free and vegetarian options available. To finish off the experience (and leave you in a food coma), there’s a dessert pizza you can’t say no to. Walk-ins are welcome, but book in advance to avoid disappointment.

Food Buds

If you’re looking for a healthier option, try Food Buds. Reasonably priced, there is so much variety from fresh salad, ‘Have it your way stir fry’, home cooked burgers and so much more. They also serve fresh fruit smoothies, using all natural ingredients. You have the option to either dine in or take away, which is convenient when you want a healthy meal on the run.
