Students are brought together every year by making one similar choice. And that choice is to study at Charles Sturt University. But what brings everyone to CSU?

Kayla Crowe (CSU graduate) – Bachelor of Stage and Screen (Design)

I chose to study at CSU as it was the only course that offered everything I wanted without having to move to the city.  I was confident that moving to CSU in Wagga Wagga would help me grow as a person and as an artist. I also heard that CSU has the highest graduate employment rate in the country, which was a really important thing for me.

Will Mah – Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science

I chose CSU because it’s away from the city and as an international student I felt that it would provide a truly Australian experience.

Chelsea Sutton – Bachelor of Creative Arts and Design (Photography)

When I was first applying for uni there were so many options and so many applications I had to complete, it was overwhelming. If it wasn’t for my Mum convincing me to apply for early entry at CSU, I wouldn’t have been successful in getting into my course. Wagga Wagga seemed like the best fit as it’s a lot bigger than my hometown in Moama, but still with a country town feel.

Indiah ToppinBachelor of Education (K – 12)

I chose CSU so I could follow my family and go to the same University. The degree itself was also really appealing with endless opportunities in both the primary and secondary school sectors after graduation. CSU have been improving the degree and not many other universities offered this option when I was applying.

Shelby Hezemans – Bachelor of Creative Arts and Design (Graphic Design)

I was living in Sydney at the time and looking at my options in and around Sydney for uni. I ended up applying for CSU so that I could be closer to my family and so I could start fresh in a new place with new people.

Emily Cross – Bachelor of Science – majoring in microbiology/immunology

I originally chose CSU as I wanted to study veterinary science – a childhood dream of mine. However, after receiving an offer in the Faculty of Science, and having heard about how flexible the Bachelor of Science degree is, I decided research was my calling. I’ve never looked back.

So, why did you choose CSU?
