Enhance your learning and head overseas with CSU Global

CSU Global trip 2016.
CSU Global trip 2016.

Are you looking for an adventure? Or wanting a different study experience? An international study tour can give you a new perspective on where your degree can take you, enhance your learning, as well as offer you a unique holiday experience.

CSU Global and the Faculty of Arts and Education are pleased to announce the return of two amazing experiences in Wales and Malaysia.

Wales

For graphic design students, CSU Global is introducing the Cardiff School of Art and Design (CSAD), Graphic Design Program in Wales. On this trip you’ll spend two weeks working alongside CSAD students on a shared project. You’ll also participate in several cultural and educational visits to sites such as St Fagan’s, the National History Museum, Cardiff Bay, Wales Millennium Centre, Typographic Hunt in Cardiff City Centre, Cardiff Graphic Design Studio and the Principality Stadium.

Malaysia

If you’re studying art history or Islamic art then don’t miss the Immersion in Islamic Art Program in Malaysia. This is a two week program that focuses on exposing you to one of the world’s largest Islamic art collections at the Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia (IAMM).

You’ll engage with the IAMM’s collection of calligraphy, architecture, textiles, ceramics, metalwork and glass. You’ll also have behind-the-scenes access to witness the operations of a museum of this calibre, including art handling processes, conservation practices and resources, exhibition planning and art acquisitions.

Both of these programs have been designed with academic recognition in mind so you could be meeting CSU subject requirements at the same time. Applications are open now with limited places available.

Dates:

  • Cardiff Graphic Design Program in Wales – November/December, 2017
  • Immersion in Islamic Art in Malaysia – January 2018
