Five things to do at the halfway point of undergraduate study

I am now halfway through studying a Bachelor of Creative Arts and Design (Graphic Design) online with CSU. I realised this is an opportunity to plan for my future, to make steps in the right direction and to make the most of this time of learning and growth. Here’s how I’m making the most of the halfway point:

Celebrate

First of all, I feel a self high-five is in order – there is the halfway point and I have crossed it. It takes a great deal of perseverance and dedication to get to this point and yet here I am.

Think Global

Obtaining credit for study while travelling overseas could be my reality with CSU Global. Now that my first year has been completed these opportunities are made accessible through the OS-HELP loan. Time to check in on eligibility and think big!

Dream

We are all here to learn our chosen fields, yet at some point I think we all feel that it’s valuable to dig deep to work out what we ultimately want. No time like the mid-point to brainstorm what my passions are, possible directions and some ultimate endings to this huge study commitment I have made.

Improve

We all have weaknesses in this world, but hey, learning is what we are here to do. I made a list of the things I have identified as shortcomings and how I might move to improve myself in this next year-and-a-half.

Jump start

My future awaits me, but that doesn’t have to mean I need to wait until graduation to take part in my industry. Now is the time to build my portfolio, network and line up an internship to put myself in good stead for employment.
