Graduate opportunities in the Public Service

Congratulations, you have almost reached the end of your time at Charles Sturt University and with graduation coming up, now is the best time to be looking for opportunities after you graduate.

If you are looking for employment in the NSW Public Sector, then look no further than the 2020 NSW Government Graduate Program. Applications open on Monday 15 July.

The NSW Government Graduate Program is an 18-month program where participants gain experience in different NSW government agencies, such as Health, Justice, Transport, Education and Parliament.

Additionally, participants study a Diploma of Government qualification, which is a learning and development course to aid students in understanding all parts to working in government.

Participants will also have access to a personal mentor and an executive sponsor, as well as the support of other graduates and alumni of the program.

After the program, successful applicants will be offered a permanent role within the NSW Government.

The 2020 Graduate Program offers roles across the Hunter, Riverina and Central Tablelands, as well as the Greater Sydney Metropolitan area, so you can choose to work in the area that suits you best.

Charles Sturt University is holding two information sessions for soon-to-be graduates:

  • 22 July – Wagga Wagga
  • 23 July – Bathurst
