Five things to do to return to study

While you are enjoying a well-deserved break from uni, now is also a great time to start thinking about the little things you can do to get ready for  Session 3 2019. Here are our five key tips so you feel prepped and set to go!

1. Enrolment

It is important to check your enrolment to make sure that you have added your subjects for Session 3! Take note of Census and Re-enrolment dates so you don’t miss out if you change your mind.

2. Prepare for your next subjects with Study Link

Study Link offers a range of online subjects that are short and self-paced. The online subjects focus on preparing students for formal study by filling knowledge gaps and building academic skills.

Study Link offers flexible study and terms are quite long to allow students to pace their own studies to fit their lifestyles.

This is a free service to Commonwealth Supported students. Find out more here!

3. Studying online subjects? Check if you’ve got Residential Schools

All dates for online subjects with a res school are now available. Check the dates for the subjects you are enrolled in or the subjects you are interested in studying.

4. Workplace learning

It is also important to start looking at what workplace learning experiences are available for the remainder of the year. You can find out about this in your course handbook and on your course Interact2 page.

There are also grants and scholarships available to help assist with the costs and planning ahead of your placement. You can find out more on the CSU scholarship website.

5. Scholarships

Scholarships for 2020 have just opened! There are a range of Scholarships available – including Equity, Merit, Accommodation and more.

So, check out which ones you’re eligible for and get applying. Remember to keep your eyes peeled throughout the year as external scholarships for specific cohorts open later on.
